Pelengas Magnum Plus 45 Speargun
Hi Oliver, pneumatic guns are great and really crushing it in areas with low visibility or where you need more maneuverability since they provide way more power in a small size. The pneumatic guns are widely used in Europe especially in lakes and rivers.These are more advanced spearguns than your usual roller spearguns. Pneumatic is easy to swing, packs a punch, less drag in the water due to no bands.
The main reason pneumatic spearguns are not as popular in the US is a lack of service provided by the manufacturers. However, Pelengas manufacturer has only 0.2% defect rate of their spearguns. And the maintenance is pretty straightforward for someone who is handy.
All that to say in Florida there is no advantage to use a pneumatic over a roller speargun, it would purely be personal preference if you want to experiment with something different, more powerful and more advanced.
